Last week our headmistress with her cooking club of fifth and sixth graders prepared and enjoyed a Mediterranean lunch buffet. They have cooked traditional recipes: lentils with rice, bulgur wheat pilaf and beans with tomatoes sauce and fresh vegetables. They combined these main dishes with yogurt, tuna salad, black olives and fresh village bread and they had a royal meal at school. The dishes were healthy, nutritious and delicious.
In Poland we have a very important day today- Santa Claus comes and brings presents for children. They have a lot of joy and fun.
After spending a wonderful week in Scotland we return to our routines from tomorrow. Many thanks to Marion and her colleagues for being excellent hosts. You were so generous to show us your country, your culture and your school. We are grateful for your hospitality. We had a lovely time and everything was well planned and organized. We are very happy to work with you to this and maybe future projects.
